刘祠堂背的路长161米，历史可往前推200多年，青石的磨痕并非只是形态的变化，那些是多少代人走过的痕迹，它像是文物一样见证着什么，它又承载着两边生活过人的情怀。当我第一次看到这条路的时候，人们和我介绍它的形态，如一个弓背，弯曲着，当我和附近居民聊天的时候，人们述说它曾经的繁华。我觉得它就像一个父亲，背负着家庭，背负着责任，始终默默地看护着住在这里的人们。
　　The road Liucitangbei Alley is 161 metres long and its history goes back more than 200 years. The wear marks on the boulders are not just changes in form, those are traces of how many generations have walked along it, it is like a relic witnessing something and it carries the sentiments of the people who have lived on both sides. When I first saw the road, people told me about its form, like a bowed back, curving, and when I talked to the residents nearby, people told me about how prosperous it once was. I felt it was like a father, carrying his family and his responsibilities, always silently watching over the people who lived here.
