作品以自拍的方式，对乡村女孩“阿露”在过往处境中的各种片段进行了呈现与想象。因为是女孩，从小便被家庭、被环境漠视所带来的创伤与影响，是乡村“阿露”无法避开却又不得不面对的事实。面对创伤，用影像来面对和立传，似乎是个不错的手段；而作品中的“阿露”更应该称为“阿露们”，因为她们是无数深处乡村文化中女性生存处境的缩影。
　　The work presents and imagines the various moments of the country girl "A lu" in her past situation in the form of a selfie. As a girl, the trauma and impact of being ignored by her family and environment since she was a child is a fact that she cannot avoid but has to face. In the face of trauma, using images to confront and create a biography seems to be a good means to do so; and the "A lu" in this work should be better known as "A lu's", as they epitomise the survival of countless women in deep rural culture.
